From October 16 to October 18, the Belarusian State Technological University became the venue for the II International Scientific, Technical and Investment Forum on Chemical Technologies and Oil and Gas Processing "Petrochemistry-2019". During it, delegations of the petrochemical industry, employees of scientific institutions, students were able to join in a number of events - the international conference “The State and Prospects of the Development of the Chemical and Petrochemical Complex”; an exhibition of innovative products, scientific and technical developments and investment projects; round table on investment finance; competition of innovative projects of young scientists, etc.

In one of the sections of the forum, in order to exchange scientific and technological achievements, a report was made on the topic “Implementation of the project for the construction of a new nitric acid production unit with a capacity of 1,200 tons per day at OJSC Grodno Azot” - to replace the company's general director Sergey Silivonik.

An exhibition venue also operated during the forum, where Grodno Azot OJSC and the Khimvolokno Plant branch presented their products.
